To write 是動(dòng)詞不定式,作后置定語(yǔ)修飾a lot.
例如:⑴They need a room to live in .

2.Now something new is growing at the top of the stem.
本句中new 作形容詞,修飾不定代詞something,放在不定代詞something 之后。形容詞修飾不定代詞或者不定副詞時(shí),常放在所修飾詞之后。這些不定代詞和不定副詞分別為:
something ,anything, nothing ,everything和somewhere, anywhere, nowhere, everywhere等。

look after 照顧,照看 同義詞是 care for ,take care of ,take good care of 好好照看 ; 好好照顧 ; 愛護(hù) ; 照顧好

send作為及物動(dòng)詞,意為“寄,送”,后接雙賓語(yǔ),即send sb. sth.或 send sth. to sb.,意為“送給某人某物”。

send for 意為“派人去請(qǐng)”,for 后應(yīng)接要請(qǐng)的人。
例如:He sent Li Lei for the doctor. 他派李雷去請(qǐng)醫(yī)生。
send up 意為“發(fā)送;發(fā)射”。
例如:Our country will send up another man-made satellite next month.下個(gè)月我們國(guó)家又要發(fā)射一顆人造衛(wèi)星。
