1. 條件狀語(yǔ)從句
當(dāng)一個(gè)句子在復(fù)合句中用作狀語(yǔ)時(shí)叫做狀語(yǔ)從句。當(dāng)從句表達(dá)“如果……”的意思時(shí)，叫做條件狀語(yǔ)從句，我們通常使用連詞if，unless來(lái)引導(dǎo)。
if引導(dǎo)的條件狀語(yǔ)從句可以放在主句之前，但主從句之間常用逗號(hào)隔開(kāi)。if引導(dǎo)的條件狀語(yǔ)從句也可以放在主句之后，主從句之間無(wú)需用逗號(hào)隔開(kāi)。
e.g. If he wants to go, please tell me.
Don’t cross the road if the traffic light is red.
unless是連詞，意為“除非；如果不”，也可以引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句，含有否定意義，相當(dāng)于if ... not。
【注意】unless引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，如果主句是一般將來(lái)時(shí)，從句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)表將來(lái)。
e.g. We’ll go to the concert unless it doesn’t rain.
2. 讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
讓步狀語(yǔ)從句由下列從屬連詞引導(dǎo)：
though（雖然），although（雖然），as（盡管），even if（即使），even though（即使），no matter …（不管）等。
e.g. Although it rained a lot, we enjoyed our holiday.
The house isn’t very nice. I like the garden though.
Even though I was really tired, I couldn’t sleep.
I’ll visit him this evening even if I can stay only a few minutes.
