suggest意為“建議”，后接名詞、動名詞或that從句。

She suggested that we should go for a walk. 她建議我們應(yīng)該去散步。
2. The air pressure pushing up on the cardboard is higher than that of the water washing down from the inside the jar. 托住紙板向上的空氣壓力大于廣口瓶內(nèi)不的向下的壓力。
1) push up向上推，push down向下按。
Will you help me push up the window? 你能幫我把窗戶推上去嗎？
What they have done pushed down prices. 他們的做法壓低了價錢。
2）that在句中為替代詞，代替the air pressure，以避免重復(fù)。that替代不可數(shù)名詞或可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)。
The weather in Hainan is warmer than that in Shenyang in winter. 海南的冬天比沈陽要暖和。
3. The butterflies that return to the south are the great-great grandchildren of the butterflies that left for the north. 這些飛回南方的蝴蝶是春天飛往北方蝴蝶的曾曾子孫。
1）that return to the south和that left for the north均為定語從句。
2）leave for意為“前往”，“leave+地點”則表示離開某地。
