fail /feɪl/ n.&v.不及格；失敗
表示在某一方面失敗，通常用介詞in。
eg：He failed in business.他經(jīng)商失敗了。
fail 后接不定式，意為“不能；沒有；未做”。
eg：He failed to get a job in the big company.
他沒有在那個大公司獲得工作。
She failed to keep the appointment.
她未赴約。

notice /'nəʊtɪs/ v. & n. 注意到，注意；通知
notice 作動詞，可用于：
notice sth.注意到某物
notice sb.do sth.注意到某人做某事
notice sb. doing sth.注意到某人正在做某事
notice ＋that 從句
eg：Did you notice my new bag?
你注意到我的新包了嗎？
Have you noticed her change the water for the goldfish?
你注意到她給金魚換水了嗎？

notice 還可作名詞，意為“通知；注意”，
常用于：take notice of 結(jié)構(gòu)，意為“注意”。

知識點(diǎn)3
how to spell是帶有特殊疑問詞的不定式短語，在句中作learn的賓語。
“疑問詞＋不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)在句中的作用相當(dāng)于一個名詞短語，可以作主語、賓語和表語。
