1. Before class, I was nervous about this report.
在上課前，我因為報告的事特別緊張。
be nervous about表示“因……而緊張”，about是介詞，
后接名詞或者動名詞。
I am nervous about seeing her every time.
每一次我一見到她就緊張。
I am a little nervous about the English test next week.
我對下周的英語測驗有一點緊張。
2.go to college/university 上大學
不表示具體的大學，前面不用冠詞。
I work hard in school and I hope to go to college someday.
我在學校努力學習，希望將來可以上大學。
go to school 上學
go to prison 坐牢
go to hospital 去醫(yī)院看病
leave school 放學；輟學；畢業(yè)
be in hospital 住院
不表示具體的大學，前面不用冠詞。但當這些名詞表示具體的事物時，前面要加冠詞。
I went to the hospital to see a friend this morning.
我今天上午去醫(yī)院看望了一個朋友。
3. This gives me some confidence to speak English.
這增加了我說英語的信心。
動詞不定式短語to speak English作后置定語，修飾
confidence. confidence意思是“信心；信任”。
A hobby can help build your confidence and make your life more colourful.
