賓語從句就是用一個句子來構(gòu)成主句的賓語
1.由從屬連詞that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句
e.g.
1.I hear (that) he will be back in an hour.
2.He said (that) he missed us very much.
注：that 在句中無詞匯意義，在從句中不能充當(dāng)成分，在口語當(dāng)中往往省略
2.由從屬連詞 whether, if 引導(dǎo)的賓語從句
if/whether 引導(dǎo)賓語從句 表示“是否”
if/whether可互換,
但whether…or not為固定搭配.
I want to know if/whether she is right .
They didn’t know whether Tom could come back or not .

If 與whether 的區(qū)別
1.I don’t know _____ he will come or not.
與or not 連用只能用whether
2.I don’t care of ______ he is handsome.
介詞后只能用whether
3.He wondered ______ to stay here the next week.
與to do 不定式連用只能用whether
4.____ he will come is not decided.
作主語只能用whether

賓語從句中時態(tài)的變化
1 當(dāng)主句是一般現(xiàn)在時，賓語從句的時態(tài)不作限制，我們可以根據(jù)句子的意思來使用需要的任何一種時態(tài)。
I hear (that)
Jim went to work an hour ago.
he is interested in English.
she will come tomorrow .
Tom has been to London twice .
2 當(dāng)主句是一般過去時的時候，賓語從句必須運用相應(yīng)的過去的某一種時態(tài)，從而達到主句和從句的相互一致。
He will go to Hong Kong .
He is sick.
He is reading a book .
He has finished his work.
He said
He would go to Hong Kong .
He was sick.
He was reading a book .
He had finished his work.
