并列復(fù)合句
并列復(fù)合句是指并列連詞and, but, or等把兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上的簡(jiǎn)單句連在一起而構(gòu)成的句子。
1. 基本結(jié)構(gòu)：
簡(jiǎn)單句 + 并列連詞 + 簡(jiǎn)單句。
I help him and he helps me.
He is very old but he is in good health.
You can stay here, or you can leave.
2. 并列連詞前后簡(jiǎn)單句之間的關(guān)系。
(1) 并列關(guān)系
They are watching TV, and the others are listening to the radio.
(2) 選擇關(guān)系
The children can go with us, or they can stay at home.
(3) 轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系
She was tired, but she did not stop working.
注意：
(1) 并列復(fù)合句有時(shí)可以不用連詞，而用分號(hào)隔開(kāi)（前后句之間的關(guān)系須相當(dāng)緊密）。例如：
We fished all day; we did not catch a single fish.
我們釣了一整天魚；但一條魚都沒(méi)有釣到。
(2) 并列連詞后面的簡(jiǎn)單句如果與前面的簡(jiǎn)單句有相同的部分，相同的部分可省略。例如：
Snoopy lives in his own world and (Snoopy) finds real life hard to understand.
史努比生活在自己的世界里，覺(jué)得現(xiàn)實(shí)生活難以理解。
