幾種時態(tài)的區(qū)分

到目前為止,我們己經(jīng)學(xué)過用多種時態(tài)來表達行為或狀態(tài)。本模塊重點復(fù)習(xí)一般現(xiàn)在時、一般過去時和現(xiàn)在完成時。那么,如何區(qū)分這三種時態(tài)呢?下面我們以一種行為或狀 態(tài)為例,來看一下它們有什么不同。

請看下面的句子:

I often watch cartoon films.我經(jīng)?纯ㄍㄆ。

I watched Spiderman last week.

我上周看了《蜘蛛俠》。

I have already watched Spiderman. I do not want to watch it again.

我已經(jīng)看過《蜘蛛俠》了,不想再看了。

可以看出,(1)表示經(jīng)常性、習(xí)慣性的動作,所以用一般現(xiàn)在時;(2)表示在過去某個時間發(fā)生的行為,用一般過去時;(3)中發(fā)生的動作也是在過去,但是沒有明確的表 示過去的時間,并且本句強調(diào)的是結(jié)果,即“現(xiàn)在不想再看了”,所以用的是現(xiàn)在完成時。

一般現(xiàn)在時的用法

1.表示經(jīng);蚍磸(fù)發(fā)生的動作,常與 always, often, usually, sometimes,once a day, every day等頻度時間狀語連用。如:

He often goes to school by bus.

他經(jīng)常坐公交車上學(xué)。

We always have supper at 6:30 pm.

我們總是在晚上6點半吃晚飯。

2. 表示現(xiàn)在的狀態(tài)、特征、能力和感覺。這類動詞有be, love,like,hate, want, hope, need, prefer, wish, know, look, sound, taste, have 等。.如:

He is very happy.他很幸福。(表示狀態(tài))

She looks like her father.

她看上去像她爸爸。(表示特征)

He knows not only English, but also French.

他不僅懂英語,而且懂法語。(表示能力) How do you like the film?

你覺得這個電影怎么樣?(表示感覺)

3. 表示客觀真理、科學(xué)事實和客觀存在。如:

The sun rises in the east.

太陽從東方升起。

Light travels faster than sound.

光速比聲速快。

一般過去時的用法

1. 表示過去某一時間發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài),常與表示過去的時間狀語連用,如 yesterday, last year/month/week, in 2004, three hours ago, two years ago 等。.如:

We helped the farmers with the apple-picking last year.

去年我們性幫農(nóng)民摘過蘋果。 

The children enjoyed themselves yesterday.孩子們咋天玩得很高興。

I finished my homework just now.

我剛剛與完了作業(yè)。

2. 表示過去經(jīng)常或反復(fù)發(fā)生的動作,也可以用used to do表示,常和often, always等 表示頻度

的時間狀語連用。如:

Tom often went to work by bus last year.

去年湯姆常常坐公交車去上班。

My father used to smoke.

我父親過去常常抽煙。

He was always ready to help the people in trouble.

他時刻準備著幫助有困難的人。

3. 有時動作發(fā)生的時間不是很清楚,但確實是過去發(fā)生的,應(yīng)當用一般過去時。如:

Who broke the teapot?

誰打碎了茶壺?

Hi, Lucy! I didn't know you were here.

嗨,露西!我不知道你在這兒。

現(xiàn)在完成時的用法

1.強調(diào)過去的動作對現(xiàn)在的影響,往往具有因果關(guān)系,常與already, yet等副詞 連用。如:

She has already bought a computer.

她已經(jīng)買了 電腦。

He has not found a job yet.

他還沒有找到工作。

The Greens have gone to England.

格林一家已經(jīng)去了英國。

2.表示過去某一動作一直持續(xù)至今,常與for, since等引導(dǎo)的時間狀語連用。如:

I have been in Beijing for five years.

我已經(jīng)在北呆了 5 年了。

He has lived here since he moved here.

從他搬到這兒以來就一直住在這里。

3.表示經(jīng)歷或經(jīng)驗,常與ever, never, once,twice, before等副詞連用。如:

—Have you ever been to Shanghai?

你去過上海嗎?

—I have been there twice.

我去過那里兩次了。
