Notes

2.In winter, Canadian people wear coats, gloves, boots and hats the same as people in northern China do.
譯：在冬天，加拿大人穿外套、手套、靴子和帽子和中國北方人一樣。__. 點撥：句中 the same as 意為“與…一樣”為固定搭配, same 后還可接名詞；as…as也意為“與…一樣”表示同級比較，第一個as 為副詞后接形容詞或副詞，第二個as 為連詞。
3. Generally, people in Canada and the United States wear suits for working in offices, as well as for more formal occasions, just as people do in China.

點撥：as well as 除…..之外（也）
