1．Which hobby do you think takes up the most space?
你認為哪種愛好占地方最多？
take up意為“填滿，占據(jù)（某空間或時間）”。例如： That big color TV set takes up too much room. 那個大彩電太占地方。
most是much的最高級，“最多的”；much的比較級是more，“較多的,更多的”，在句中通常用來修飾不可數(shù)名詞。例如： He’s the best teacher because he has the most experience. 他教得最好因為他有最多的經(jīng)驗。
2．Sorry， it’s a bit of a mess. I’ll put the fans on the shelf.
對不起，有點亂。我會把這些扇子放到架子上。
a bit 表示“稍微、一點兒”，可以用來修飾動詞以及形容詞、副詞的原級、比較級。 a bit of 表示“一點兒”，可以用來修飾名詞。例如： This book costs a bit (too) much. 這本書有點（太）貴了。
We have a bit of time. 我們有點時間。
shelf “隔板；架子”，其復(fù)數(shù)形式為shelves。例如： What a mess! Let’s put these books on the shelves. 多亂��！讓我們把這些書放在架子上吧。
