現(xiàn)在完成進行時
現(xiàn)在完成進行時表示動作從過去某一時間開始,一直延續(xù)到現(xiàn)在還未結(jié)束,F(xiàn)在完成進行時有時也可用來表示經(jīng)常的、反復(fù)的動作。
(1) 結(jié)構(gòu):have / has + been + V-ing
(2) 與since或for引導(dǎo)的時間狀語連用;since后接動作開始的時間,for后面接一段時間;對since或for引導(dǎo)的時間狀語提問時要用how long 。
(3) 否定形式是在have / has后加not構(gòu)成,可縮寫為haven’t / hasn’t。
(4) 一般疑問句形式是將have / has提至主語前;肯定回答用“Yes, 主語+have / has.”,否定回答用“No, 主語+haven’t / hasn’t.”。
e.g. a. -How long have you been drawing?
-I have been drawing for two hours.
b. -How long has Maria been playing the piano?
-She has been playing the piano since she was five years old.
c. They haven’t been working since last month.
d. -Has he been living here?
-Yes, he has. / No, he hasn’t.
定語從句
定語從句是在復(fù)合句中起定語作用, 修飾名詞、代詞或整個主句的從句。被定語從句修飾的詞叫先行詞。引導(dǎo)定語從句的關(guān)系詞有關(guān)系代詞(that, which, who, whom, whose等) 和關(guān)系副詞(where, when, why)。
關(guān)系詞在定語從句中的作用:
①連接主句和定語從句;
②指代先行詞;
③在定語從句中充當(dāng)一定的成分。
(1)關(guān)系代詞that與which
在定語從句中,關(guān)系代詞that既可指人,也可指物,which一般用于指物。
在指物時,二者一般可以互換,但非限制性定語從句中多用which引導(dǎo)。
e.g. The old town has narrow streets and small houses that are built close to each other.
That evening, which I will tell you more about later, I ended up working very late.
(2)關(guān)系代詞who與whom
who指人,是主格,在定語從句中作主語,一般可用that替換。
whom指人,是賓格,在定語從句中作 賓語。在口語和非正式文體中可用who 或that替換,也可以省略。
