1. Then I turn the jar upside down and take my hand off the cardboard.
然后，我把瓶子倒置，手離開紙片。
upside down 意思是“顛倒著，倒轉(zhuǎn)著；亂七八糟”。
e.g. The canoe floated upside down on the lake.
獨(dú)木舟底朝天漂浮在湖面上。
The children turned the house upside down.
孩子們把屋里弄得亂七八糟。
turn… upside down 把……翻轉(zhuǎn)；倒過來
e.g. If you turn the envelope upside down, the key will fall out.

take away & take off
在take away 與take off 這兩個短語中，take 都是“拿、帶”的意思，away 和off 是副詞，都可以表示“離開、離去”的意思。
從字面意思及結(jié)構(gòu)看，這兩個短語很容易被混淆。其實(shí)，這兩個短語的意思和用法相差很遠(yuǎn)。
take away 可表示“拿走”、“使離開”、“減去”等意思。如：
His sister wants to take away this book.

The girl was taken away from school.
女孩被帶離學(xué)校。
Take away 3 from 6 and you get 3.
