Adverbial clauses of time 時間狀語從句
as soon as， 表示語句的動作緊接著從句的動作而發(fā)生。如：I will give him the message as soon as I see him. (我一看到他，就告訴他。)
“not … until…” 與“until”：前者表示“直到……才……”，指主句的動作在從句所表示的時間才開始，謂語一般用非延續(xù)性動詞；而后者則表示主句的動作在從句所表示的時間之前就開始，并且一直持續(xù)到該時間為止，其謂語一般用持續(xù)性動詞。
“主將從現(xiàn)”：即主句用一般將來時態(tài)，從句只能用一般現(xiàn)在時。
從句的位置： 時間狀語從句放在主句之前或之后均可。但在主句之前時，應(yīng)用逗號與主句分開。
