Language points
1. Do you think you are different from your sister. 你認為你不同于你的姐姐嗎？
be different from 與differ from 同義，同時是differ from的另一種表達方式，并且比differ from更為口語化。
如：American cars are different from ours.
= American cars differ from ours.

1) both“兩個、兩者都……”, 在句中可作代詞、形容詞、副詞、連詞。

1. A + be + 形容詞比較級 + than + B
e.g. I’m more outgoing than you.

2. A + 實義動詞 + 副詞比較級 + than + B
e.g. Tom jumps higher than Jack.
湯姆比鮑勃跳得更高。
兩者進行比較,表示“一方與另一方一樣……”

e.g. Jack is as funny as Mike.

形容詞的原級和比較級
1.什么是形容詞的原級？
表示修飾兩種東西的程度是一樣的,用as….as表示原級，譯為:“和…一樣”。
2.什么是形容詞的比較級？
表示兩者相比，一個比另一個更…，有比較級的句中有than,且僅限于兩者比較。
原級和比較級區(qū)分程度的不同：
原級是說明兩個人物或事物的程度是一樣。
比較級是區(qū)分兩個人物或事物的程度不一樣。

原級的用法
講述某人或某物自身情況時用原級。
基本句型：主語+ 謂語 + 形容詞/副詞原級 +….
He is very old now. 他現(xiàn)在很老了。
They ran quite fast. 它們跑得相當快。
The weather looks rather bad.
天氣看上去相當糟
I am so happy. 我是如此的快樂。
表示兩者之間沒有差別時,使用句型：
主語(第一個人物) + 謂語動詞 + as + 形容詞/副詞原級 + as + 第二個人物 +….
如：He is as excited as his younger sister.
他和他妹妹一樣興奮。
Lily rode her bike as slowly as an old lady.
莉莉騎車像老太太一樣慢。
They picked as many apples as the farmers (did).
