單元語法精講
一、where的用法
where是疑問副詞，意為“(在)哪里；(在)什么地方”，用來對(duì)表示地點(diǎn)的副詞或介詞短語進(jìn)行提問。由where等疑問詞引導(dǎo)的疑問句叫做特殊疑問句。
句型Where is/are＋主語(人或物)？其中is后接單數(shù)意義的主語，are后接復(fù)數(shù)意義的主語。eg：
Where are your books？你的書在哪里？
回答時(shí)，用句型“主語＋is/are＋表示地點(diǎn)的介詞短語”。主語一般用it，he，she或they來代替句中的單復(fù)數(shù)主語。eg：
—Where is your sister？你姐姐在哪里？
—She is in the room.她在房間里。
【注意】where is可縮寫成where's，但where are則不能縮寫。
二、方位介詞：on，in，under
介詞on在表示地點(diǎn)時(shí)，意為“在……上面”，指某人或某物在另一物體上面(表面接觸，上下緊貼)。
in在表示地點(diǎn)時(shí)，意為“在……里面(內(nèi)部)”。
under表示“在……下面”與on互為反義詞。eg：
on the desk在課桌上面
in the bedroom在臥室
under the bed在床下面
三、I don't know.我不知道。
主要用于你無法回答他人詢問的問題時(shí)，常說“I don't know.”為了表示禮貌，也可以在前面加上sorry或I'm sorry。
don't是do not的縮寫形式，do為助動(dòng)詞，無實(shí)際意義，幫助實(shí)義動(dòng)詞know構(gòu)成否定句。
