The present continuous passive
1.構成：be + being done
2.識別：
a. 主語是動作的承受者且動作正在發(fā)生（常有now，at present等標志詞）或持續(xù)，意為“某人或某事正在被……”
It is reported that many a new house is being built at present in the disaster area. 據(jù)報道，現(xiàn)在災區(qū)有很多新房子正在被建造。
A new railway station is being built. 一個新火車站正在建設中。
b. 一種習慣的被動行為，常與always，constantly等頻度副詞連用，常有贊賞或討厭等感情色彩
I feel very surprised that the window of our classroom is frequently being broken. 我感到非常吃驚的是我們教室的那扇窗戶經(jīng)常被打破。
c. 與某些情態(tài)動詞連用，表示對正在發(fā)生動作的推測
The old man may be being watched over by a volunteer at the very moment. 這位老人此刻可能正在被一位義工照料。
3.特殊用法：
a. 少數(shù)及物動詞的被動語態(tài)可用于現(xiàn)在進行表將來
A popular song is being sung next. 下面將唱一首流行歌曲。
A concert is being held tonight. 今晚將要舉行一場音樂會。
b. 一些表示狀態(tài)、心理活動、擁有、存在等的動詞，如have，want，need，love，realize等，一般不用于進行時
Mary, come here. You're wanted on the phone. 過來瑪麗，電話有人找。
With the population increasing, more land is needed. 隨著人口的增長，需要更多的土地。
The actor is still loved by many young people. 那個演員仍然很受年輕人喜愛。
c. 少數(shù)動詞用于進行時態(tài)，用主動形式表示被動含義，如print，cook，fry，hang，build，make等
These magazines are printing. 這些雜志正在印刷中。
The beef is cooking. 牛肉正在煮。
