【辨析】for example與such as

①for example一般用于列舉同一類人或事物中的一個例子,作插入語,可置于句首、句中或句末。

eg:I like fruit,for example,I often eat bananas in the evening.我喜歡水果,例如,我經(jīng)常在晚上吃香蕉。

②such as一般用于列舉同一類人或事物中的幾個例子,但必須少于前面所提及的總數(shù),位置只能在所列名詞之前,可與and so on連用。

eg:He knows several languages,such as English and Chinese.他知道好幾種語言,如英語和漢語。

remember動詞,意為“記住”。其反義詞為forget“忘記”,二者意義相反,但用法相同。

【辨析】remember to do sth.與remember doing sth.

①remember to do sth.意為“記得去做某事”,此事還未做。

②remember doing sth.意為“記得曾經(jīng)做過某事”,此事已做完。

was killed意為“被殺害”,表示的是被動關(guān)系。英語語法上將這種現(xiàn)象稱為“被動語態(tài)”,我們將在九年級具體學(xué)習(xí)這一語法現(xiàn)象。

eg:The bridge was built last year.這座橋是去年建成的。

completely副詞,意為“徹底地;完全地”,其形容詞形式為complete,意為“完整的;完全的;徹底的”。

【拓展】complete還可作動詞,意為“完成”。
