認識WWF

世界自然基金會(WWF)是在全球享有盛譽的、最大的獨立性非政府環(huán)境保護組織之一。WWF1961年成立,總部位于瑞士格朗。WWF在全世界超過100個國家有辦事處,擁有5 000名全職員工,并有超過500萬名志愿者。WWF在中國的工作始于1980年的大熊貓及其棲息地的保護,是第一個受中國政府邀請來華開展保護工作的國際非政府組織。1996年,WWF正式成立北京辦事處,此后陸續(xù)在全國八個城市建立了辦事處。至今,WWF在中國共資助開展了100多個重大項目。WWF在中國的項目領域從大熊貓保護擴大到物種保護、淡水和海洋生態(tài)系統(tǒng)保護與可持續(xù)利用、森林保護與可持續(xù)經(jīng)營、可持續(xù)發(fā)展教育、氣候變化與能源、野生物貿易、科學發(fā)展與國際政策等領域。

連 讀

1.“輔音+元音”型連讀:如果相鄰兩詞中的前一個詞是以輔音結尾,后一個詞是以元音開頭,要將輔音與元音拼起來連讀。例如聽力原文中的West London Wildlife is a group of volunteers.

2.“r/re+元音”型連讀:如果前一個詞是以-r或者-re結尾,后一個詞是以元音開頭,r或re發(fā)/r/,要與后面的元音拼起來連讀。例如聽力原文中的And there are three million private gardens.

3.“輔音+半元音”型連讀:如果前一個詞是以輔音結尾,后一個詞是以半元音,特別是/j/開頭,此時也要連讀。例如聽力原文中的And you are now on Radio Richmond.
