How safe is your home?PPT,第四部分內(nèi)容:教材解讀
1.Can people prevent certain accidents?
2.So be careful!
3.Many people hurt themselves by falling off chairs.
fall off意為“掉下來”,強(qiáng)調(diào)“從什么地方掉下來”,相當(dāng)于drop/fall down from,后面接名詞作賓語。
4.Don’t use water to put out kitchen fires.
use sth. to do sth.
和fire相關(guān)的短語:catch fire(著火),make a fire(生火),discover a fire(發(fā)現(xiàn)火情),light/start a fire(點火),put out the fire(滅火),set fire to sth.=set sth. on fire(放火燒……),be on fire(失火,在著火)。
