◆It's hard sometimes to talk about the future.有時(shí)候談?wù)撐磥?lái)是困難的。
It is＋ adj. ＋ to do sth.表示“做某事是……的”，it是形式主語(yǔ)，真正的主語(yǔ)是后邊的不定式短語(yǔ)to do sth.。
eg: It is important to get to school on time every day.每天按時(shí)到校很重要。
◆Maybe you'll be a teacher.也許你會(huì)成為一名教師。
maybe是副詞，表示“也許，大概”，通常放在句子開(kāi)頭，在句子中作狀語(yǔ)。主要用于非正式場(chǎng)合，口語(yǔ)中常用。
eg：Maybe Mary won't come here tonight.今晚大概瑪麗不會(huì)來(lái)這兒。
【拓展】may be 是情態(tài)動(dòng)詞may 加動(dòng)詞be構(gòu)成，在句中作謂語(yǔ)，表示“可能是，大概是”，后接形容詞、介詞短語(yǔ)或名詞作表語(yǔ)。
eg：She may be at home.她可能在家。(＝Maybe she is at home.)
◆I hope to be a teacher.我希望成為一名教師。
hope to do sth.表示“希望做某事”。
eg: I hope to have a good sleep tonight.我希望今晚睡個(gè)好覺(jué)。
【注意】沒(méi)有hope sb.to do sth.這種用法。
◆I would be nice to my students.I wouldn't give them too much homework on weekends！我會(huì)善待我的學(xué)生。周末我不會(huì)給他們留太多作業(yè)。
(1)would 是will的過(guò)去式，可用于過(guò)去將來(lái)時(shí)，但這里是情態(tài)動(dòng)詞。表示“將要”或“想要”，表示意愿，后面加動(dòng)詞原形。
eg：He would eat nothing.他不愿吃東西。
(2)be nice to sb.相當(dāng)于be good/kind to sb.意思是“對(duì)某人好”。
eg：You have been good/ kind/ nice to me.你一直對(duì)我都很好。
◆grow up意思是“成長(zhǎng)，逐漸形成”。
A warm friendship grew up between two men.兩人之間逐漸產(chǎn)生了友情。
