1. Jenny and Danny took their final exams today.
(1) final 形容詞，意為“最后的，最終的”，其副詞 為finally，相當(dāng)于at last，in the end。
例：This is the final lesson of this term. I hope you all這是這學(xué)期的最后一節(jié)課。
Finally/At last/In the end, we won the game.
最后，我們贏得了比賽。
【辨析】final與last
二者都可意為“最后的”，有時可以互換使用。
區(qū)別如下：
final 該詞側(cè)重強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)果，表示以此作為結(jié)束或到達(dá)終點(diǎn)，不表示順序上的最后。
last 該詞主要指順序、時間、位置等的最后，暗示其后沒有其他的人或物。
(2)exam是名詞，意為“考試，檢查”。常用短語：take exams/an exam 參加考試。
例：They are taking an English exam.
他們正在進(jìn)行英語考試。
2. I am sure you did well.
be sure 確定，確信。 be sure后面跟 that 從句做賓語，其中that 可省略。
例：She is sure she can pass the exam. 她確信她能通過這場考試。
sure 的其他用法：
(1)be sure to do sth. 一定/肯定做某事。sure后接不定式往往表示說話人的推測、評論，主語不一定是人。(2)be sure of/about＋名詞/代詞/動名詞，意為“確信，對……有把握”，表示對客觀事物有肯定的認(rèn)識和判斷，主語必須是人。
3. Do you have any plans？
plan作名詞，意為“計劃”。它為可數(shù)名詞，其復(fù)數(shù)形式為plans。
