英語動(dòng)詞有兩種語態(tài), 主動(dòng)語態(tài)和被動(dòng)語態(tài)。主動(dòng)語態(tài)表示主語是動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者,如:
They built a new bridge over the river.
被動(dòng)語態(tài)表示主語是動(dòng)作的承受者,如:
A new bridge was built over the river.
當(dāng)主語是動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者時(shí),隨后的動(dòng)詞用主動(dòng)態(tài);當(dāng)主語是動(dòng)作的承受者時(shí),隨后的動(dòng)詞用被動(dòng)態(tài)。英語動(dòng)詞的主動(dòng)態(tài)是沒有標(biāo)記的，而被動(dòng)態(tài)則是有標(biāo)記的，通常由助動(dòng)詞be + 及物動(dòng)詞的過去分詞構(gòu)成。
Many people speak English. (主動(dòng))
English is spoken by many people. (被動(dòng))
We can use the passive voice when
it is obvious who performs the action.
e.g. Word processing skills are taught
in our computer lessons.

一、主動(dòng)語態(tài)變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)語態(tài)
把主動(dòng)語態(tài)的賓語變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)語態(tài)的主語,用主格把謂語變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)結(jié)構(gòu),注意be 的時(shí)態(tài)和原句要保持一致。把主動(dòng)語態(tài)的主語放在介詞by后作賓語，將主格變?yōu)橘e格。
二、被動(dòng)句變?yōu)橹鲃?dòng)句的步驟:
1) 找到動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者(常為被動(dòng)句的賓語)作主動(dòng)句的主語.
2) 找到be+過去分詞結(jié)構(gòu)還原為及物動(dòng)詞原形.
3) 找到動(dòng)作的承受者(常為被動(dòng)句的主語)作主動(dòng)句的賓語.
4) 確定及物動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)。數(shù)(注意)在以上轉(zhuǎn)換中,代詞作主語用主格, 代詞作賓語用賓格.
