原級，即原形，比較級，表示“較……”；“更……”

一、形容詞的比較級變化形式
構(gòu)成的規(guī)則變化:
1. 一般在詞尾加 — er eg.
cold – colder
old — older
2. 重讀閉音節(jié)詞末尾只有一個輔音字母時, 先雙寫這個輔音字母, 再加-er.
big – bigger
thin – thinner
3. 以“輔音字母+ y”結(jié)尾的雙音節(jié)詞，先改y為i, 再加-er。
easy – easier
happy – happier

二、形容詞的比較級的用法
1.表示兩者 (人或事物) 的比較。
eg. I am taller than Tom.
My dress is more beautiful than hers.
The blue ruler is long.
The red ruler is longer,
The red ruler is longer than the blue ruler.
