語法講解
一般過去時(shí)表示過去發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或存在的狀態(tài)。在敘述過去發(fā)生的事情,表達(dá)過去的狀態(tài)、過去的特征、過去的行為等時(shí)要用一般過去時(shí),常和表示過去的時(shí)間狀語連用, 如yesterday, last year,just now, three years ago, in 1998等,謂語動(dòng)詞要用過去式。
be動(dòng)詞的過去式
(1)主語是第一、三人稱單數(shù)、不可數(shù)名詞、可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)時(shí),be動(dòng)詞為was。比如:I was...;
He/She was...; Tom was...;The air was...。
eg:He was born in America. 他出生于美國(guó)。
(2)主語是第二人稱或第一、三人稱復(fù)數(shù)或可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)時(shí),be 動(dòng)詞用were。 比如You/We/They
were...; Birds were...。
eg:The boys were in the classroom a moment ago.

知識(shí)講解
hero / ' hɪərəʊ/ n.英雄
eg:The soldier acted like a real hero.
那個(gè)士兵的舉動(dòng)像一個(gè)真正的英雄。
hero為可數(shù)名詞,其復(fù)數(shù)形式為heroes,類似的
單詞還有:tomato—tomatoes, potato—potatoes。
