知識探究1  borrow的用法

borrow意為“借來”,習慣上用borrow sth. from sb./sp. 

例: 

I often borrow story books ______ my teacher.

我經(jīng)常從老師那兒借故事書。

知識探究2  look for

look for意為“尋找”,強調(diào)尋找的動作和過程。

【辨析】find意為“找到”,強調(diào)尋找的結果。

例: 

I ________ my pen everywhere and finally _____ it on the desk. 

我到處找鋼筆,最后在課桌上找到了。
