一、過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)
1. 定義
過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)表示過(guò)去某一時(shí)刻正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作或過(guò)去某一階段一直在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作。
eg：I was reading in the library at that time.
那時(shí)我正在圖書(shū)館看書(shū)。
2. 構(gòu)成
過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)由“was/were＋現(xiàn)在分詞”構(gòu)成。
3. 句式變換
一般疑問(wèn)句及回答: Was/Were＋主語(yǔ)＋v. ing形式＋其他？
肯定回答：Yes，主語(yǔ)＋was/were.
否定回答：No，主語(yǔ)＋wasn't/weren't.
eg：—Were you watching TV at home at 9 o'clock yesterday evening?昨天晚上9點(diǎn)你在家看電視嗎？
—Yes，I was. / No, I wasn't. 是，我是。/不，我不是。
否定句:
肯定句變否定句時(shí)在was/were 之后加not，was not�？s寫(xiě)為wasn't，were not �？s寫(xiě)為weren't。
eg：I was not/ wasn't reading in the library at that time.
我那時(shí)不在圖書(shū)館看書(shū)。
特殊疑問(wèn)句：
疑問(wèn)詞＋was/ were＋主語(yǔ)＋ v. ing形式＋其他？
例如：What were you doing at that time?
你那時(shí)在干什么？
二、when、while和as的用法
when/ as后的動(dòng)作可以是短暫的也可以是延續(xù)的，while后只能是延續(xù)的。
