【辨析】not longer與no more
兩個(gè)短語(yǔ)都有“不再”的意思，在很多情況下可以換用。具體區(qū)別如下：
①no longer相當(dāng)于not...any longer，側(cè)重于在時(shí)間上不再延長(zhǎng)。它們與狀態(tài)動(dòng)詞或延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞連用。其中not...any longer中的any longer置于動(dòng)詞之后，no longer必須寫在一起。
②no more相當(dāng)于not...anymore，側(cè)重于在數(shù)量上不再增加。它們與表示具體動(dòng)作的動(dòng)詞連用，尤其可與短暫性動(dòng)詞連用。
honest形容詞，意為“誠(chéng)實(shí)的，正直的”。to be honest意為“老實(shí)說；坦白地說”。
eg：He is an honest boy.他是一個(gè)誠(chéng)實(shí)的男孩。
【注意】honest的第一個(gè)字母h不發(fā)音，它以元音音素/ɒ/開頭，故前面的冠詞應(yīng)使用an。其名詞形式是honesty。
as for是介詞短語(yǔ)，意為“至于，關(guān)于”，其后跟名詞、代詞或動(dòng)詞ing形式，可置于句首或句中。
do with相當(dāng)于deal with，意為“處理，應(yīng)付”。
①do with與deal with兩者都可以用來表示“處理”，do側(cè)重于對(duì)象，deal側(cè)重于方式、方法。但是在特殊疑問句中，do with與what連用，deal with則與how連用。
eg：I don't know how they deal with the problem.
＝I don't know what they do with the problem.我不知道他們?nèi)绾翁幚磉@個(gè)問題。
②在動(dòng)詞不定式短語(yǔ)to deal with中，必須帶賓語(yǔ)。
eg：I don't know how to deal with it.我不知道如何處理這件事。
