1.When is your birthday,Linda？你的生日是什么時(shí)候，琳達(dá)？
when是疑問(wèn)副詞，意為“什么時(shí)候”，引導(dǎo)特殊疑問(wèn)句，其結(jié)構(gòu)為：“When+一般疑問(wèn)句？”，回答時(shí)可用介詞in,on,at等引導(dǎo)的表示時(shí)間的介詞短語(yǔ)。
—When is Jay Chou's birthday?
—His birthday is on January 18th.
2.My birthday is on May 2nd.我的生日是五月二日。
On May 2nd中的介詞on可以省略，May 2nd意為“五月二日”，在表示日期時(shí)，要注意以下幾點(diǎn)：在美式英語(yǔ)中，記載方法是按月、日、年的順序，“日”與“年”中間要用逗號(hào)隔開(kāi)，書(shū)寫(xiě)時(shí)“日”可以寫(xiě)成序數(shù)詞形式，也可直接寫(xiě)成阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字形式，但讀時(shí)一定讀作序數(shù)詞。
April 10th,1997=4/10/1997 即1997年4月10日。
在英式英語(yǔ)中，記載方法是按日、月、年的順序，其他同上面所講相同。
