指將stop后的動作停止

stop to do sth.“停下來去做某事”
指停止其他事情，開始做stop后的動作
Tom stopped to have a rest because he felt tired.湯姆停下來休息，因為他感到累了。
后面既可接不定式又可接動詞的ing形式的動詞：forget to do 忘記去做（事還未做）

意為“想要做某事”。可與would like to do sth.互換。

表示“某人花多長時間或多少金錢做某事”
