看美國人如何教育孩子
尊重，是美國兒童教育中的重要方式和特殊營養(yǎng)。比如，美國人講究對(duì)孩子說話的口氣和方法，不但大人要認(rèn)真傾聽孩子的話，而且有時(shí)還要蹲下來同孩子對(duì)話，使孩子感到你在尊重他，并可避免他有“低一等”的感覺。
美國人反對(duì)父母在人前教子，更不允許當(dāng)著人面斥責(zé)孩子“不爭(zhēng)氣”、“笨蛋”、“沒出息”，因?yàn)檫@會(huì)深深傷害孩子的自尊心，父母這樣做是一種犯罪。美國父母這樣尊重孩子，不僅僅是因?yàn)樗麄兡挲g小，需要愛護(hù)、關(guān)心和培養(yǎng)，還在于他們從出生起就是一個(gè)獨(dú)立的個(gè)體，有自己獨(dú)立的意愿和個(gè)性。
