1. The twins saw three men in police uniforms coming out of the building with guns in their hands.
這對孿生兄弟看見三個(gè)身著警服的男人手中持槍，正從大樓里出來。
with guns in their hands是“with+賓語+賓語補(bǔ)足語” 的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，表示一種伴隨狀況。
e.g. The teacher came into the classroom with a book under her arm.

2. They ran towards the three men and tried to stop them from leaving.
