可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞
一、可數(shù)名詞
1.規(guī)則變化
2.不規(guī)則變化
不規(guī)則變化的名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式有以下幾種情況：
(1)改變單數(shù)名詞中的元音字母。
foot→feet; tooth→teeth; man→men; woman→women
(2)單復(fù)數(shù)同形：Japanese, sheep, Chinese, deer, fish
(3)英語中有些名詞總以復(fù)數(shù)形式出現(xiàn)。如：trousers, pants, clothes, glasses(眼鏡)等。
二、不可數(shù)名詞
1．物質(zhì)名詞：milk, water, rice
2．抽象名詞：work, time, health
3．不可數(shù)名詞的量的表達(dá)：數(shù)詞＋量詞＋of＋不可數(shù)名詞。如：a piece of paper, two glasses of water/milk等。
三、既可數(shù)又不可數(shù)的名詞
有些名詞既能用作可數(shù)名詞，又能用作不可數(shù)名詞，但意義不同。
chicken—雞(可數(shù))；雞肉(不可數(shù))
room—房間(可數(shù))；空間(不可數(shù))
fish—魚(可數(shù))；魚肉(不可數(shù))
glass—玻璃杯(可數(shù))；玻璃(不可數(shù))
paper—試卷，報(bào)紙(可數(shù))；紙張(不可數(shù))
