Language points
1.It is the parents’ job to provide a clean and comfortable environment at home for their children. 在家中給他們的孩子提供一個(gè)干凈、舒適的環(huán)境是家長(zhǎng)們的事情。
it 為形式主語(yǔ)，真正的主語(yǔ)是provide a clean and …for their children.
It’s one’s job (duty) to do something
看作一個(gè)固定句型，表示“做某事是人的職責(zé)”
It is my job to clean the classroom today.
2. And anyway, I think doing chores is not so difficult. 反正我覺(jué)得干家務(wù)也不太難。
anyway 是個(gè)副詞，置于句首時(shí)，其后常常用逗號(hào)與其他成分隔開(kāi)。意為“反正，仍然，依然”
Sam didn’t get the job, but he is not unhappy
because it didn’t pay well anyway.
anyway還可以表示“不管怎樣，無(wú)論如何”
