2. Beijing is the capital of China.
the capital of 意為“......的首都/省會”
Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province.
London is the capital of England.
3. Wang Hui is my friend, but he is not in my class.
but連接的并列句，前后兩個分句是轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系。意為“但是；可是”。
Tony is from America, but he can speak Chinese.
She wants to go to the zoo, but her father doesn’t want to go there.
4. Shanghai is a very big city.
very作副詞，修飾形容詞或副詞，表示程度。意為“很, 非常”。
【注意】very不能用來修飾動詞。
The tree is very tall.
I like China very much.
5. Tony is my first name and Smith is my last name.
first name=given name 名字
last name=family name 姓
6. It’s nice to meet you all.
“It is + 形容詞 + to do sth.”“ 做某事是......的。”其中it 為形式主語，動詞不定式為真正的主語。
