此句型用于表達(dá)某人的業(yè)余愛好。collecting是collect的動名詞形式。在英語中，動詞原形不能單獨作主語。由于動名詞有名詞性質(zhì)，所以用動名詞作主語。
e.g. Playing the piano is my hobby. 彈鋼琴是我的業(yè)余愛好。
— What toys have you got? 你有什么玩具？
— I’ve got some toy dogs. 我有一些玩具狗。
句子用于詢問和回答某人有什么玩具。toys也可用單數(shù)形式,表示“你有件什么玩具”。have got表示“有,擁有”,相當(dāng)于have。若句中的主語是第三人稱單數(shù), 則have got要變?yōu)閔as got。
e.g. — What toys has your brother got? 你弟弟有什么玩具?
— He has got a toy train. 他有一個玩具火車。

你有來自中國的郵票嗎？
— Yes, I have. 是的，我有。
該句用來詢問某人是否有什么物品，是由have引導(dǎo)的一般疑問句,要把have got中的have提前。句子的肯定回答是“Yes, I have.”，否定回答是“No, I haven’t.”。
e.g. — Have you got a stamp from the US? 你有來自美國的郵票嗎?
— Yes, I have. 是的,我有。
